WQR 3 - Kelvyn Bosses Brum

BriSCA's second formula to the world path to the second cIty, as the Wheels Raceway played host to an excellent 56 car turnout, proving that the early doomsday merchants's prophesies to be unfounded.

Youngster Jordan Thackra (324) took heat 1, and fellow white top Alfie Smith (123) too the second heat. Westcountry star Matt Stoneman (127) was successful in the consolation.

Come the final and a packed grid, saw white tops Thackra and Ryan Jones (72), pursued by Steven Burgoyne (674). A caution closed the gap as Jones led from Burgoyne and Mark Gibbs (578), with Kelvyn Marshall (101) lurking not behind. As the boards came out Gibbs took the lead, and with 2 to go, Marshall took over, and took his second tarmac qualifying round win in a row. Gibbs took second, and Burgoyne held on for another impressive display from the young Scot.
