The Pringle Award, is awarded to drivers who have, shall we say, been a 
little anticipatory with their starts.
Colin Jackson told Linford Christie to go on the B of the Bang - these lot have gone before the starter got the pistol out of his pocket! Why Pringle? Well there's two reasons. The first being after the potato based snack of the same names catchline.... "once you pop, you can't stop". The second, is named after the jumpers that adorn the golf clubs across the land. Now, golfing attire is the height of fashion is it not! So these jumpers are considered dodgy... and therefore a Pringle is a dodgy jumper 

So the entry to the Munificent Order of the Pringle is exclusive to all those who have been caught or deemed to have jumped the start, it's fairly stellar. This page will highlight these misdemeanours!
